This lovely, fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath home will comfortably
accommodate 4 non-smoking adults. Both bedrooms afford a panoramic view of Zihuatanejo bay from their individual balconies.
The open dining and living areas provide a spectacular 360 degree view of
the town, mountains, bay and ocean.
The house features granite and marble countertops and doors and cabinetry
made from Parota, a very attractive local hardwood.
The 2 bedroom balconies
are supported by tree trunks enveloped by strangler vines.

Casa Amarilla offers wireless DSL for those who must stay in touch, in
addition to local telephone service. Long distance as well as international calls are very
expensive in Mexico. We recommend that guests bring their cell phones along
for this purpose. You will need to contact your service provider to make
certain
that your cell phone will work in Mexico. Another option is to purchase an MCI
International Calling Card (We bought ours at
Costco). Calls to the US from Mexico run US$0.27 per minute;
from the US to Mexico are US$0.12 per minute, when using the card.
Beds in Mexico are usually made from concrete pedestals, so a really good
mattress is essential. Ours are US-made, pillow top mattresses of the
highest quality and are very comfortable.
The bedrooms have air conditioning, but we have found the ceiling fans to be
quite adequate. The dining and living areas on the top floor have ceiling
fans, but we have rarely found it necessary to use them, since there always
seems to be a pleasant breeze to keep things cool.
Casa Amarilla is centrally located in the La Madera neighborhood on a
dead-end street. There are no other, first class lodgings closer to “the
action”.
